The FallTech 8202 is a 14 IN dorsal D-ring extender that brings your harness connection point up within reach, so you can clip a lanyard or SRL behind your back without help. Rugged polyester webbing carries an alloy steel D-ring on one end and an alloy steel snap hook on the other for attachment to the harness dorsal D-ring. An extender adds to your total fall clearance distance when used with an energy absorbing lanyard, so account for the extra length in your fall clearance calculation.
