The FallTech 8366 is an 18 IN dorsal D-ring extender that moves your harness connection point up over the shoulder, so clipping a lanyard or SRL behind your back stops being a two-person job. Rugged polyester webbing carries an alloy steel D-ring on one end and an alloy steel snap hook on the other for attachment to the harness dorsal D-ring. Note that an extender adds to your total fall clearance distance when used with an energy absorbing lanyard, so account for the extra length in your fall clearance calculation.
