The Huskie Tools REC-MK7510X is a 12-ton battery-powered compression tool designed for single-handed operation in overhead line work, running on the Makita LXT 18V Lithium-Ion battery platform. It accepts all industry-standard 'U' type die sets and crimps lugs and splices up to 750 MCM aluminum or copper. Protective brush guards help prevent accidental contact with energized circuits - the tool has been tested up to 75 kV for live-line applications - and an integrated LED lights the work area in low-light conditions. The 'X' configuration is the tool-only package with carrying bag; batteries and charger sold separately.
