The Jonard Tools CSP-RPXSM Dual-Head Cable Slitting Pliers combine two precision-engineered blade blocks in a single double-head tool, giving fiber technicians a complete solution for RPX® gel-free ribbon cable in both Dielectric and Toneable models. One head exposes the internal ribbon fibers; the other opens the strength member and toner wire for anchoring.
The CSP-RPXB block slits the polyethylene (PE) outer jacket for mid-span or end access, while the CSP-RPXMB block slits the jacket of the strength member and toner wire. Both blades are fixed to prevent accidental fiber damage and require no adjustment, and set screws let you replace a blade quickly in the field.
