The Jonard Tools JIC-891 connector-crimper pliers are a telecom splicer's workhorse, pressing UR, UY, UG and 709-series connectors and crimping B-type and AMP Tel-Splice connectors on 19, 22, 24 and 26 AWG copper conductors. The heat-treated carbon steel body carries induction-hardened cutting edges, pairing a 1 IN jaw with a 1/2 IN cutter so one tool presses, crimps and trims. Double-dipped plastic grips finish it off. Sold individually; also called B-connector pressing pliers.
