The Jonard Tools MS-446 is a patented, award-winning mid span slit and ring tool that provides easy access to optical fibers in thick-walled OSP cables with jacket diameters from 9.1 to 14.6 mm, including AFL Heavy Duty OSP MicroCore (LMHD-Series) cables. One side performs radial/ring cuts while the other performs longitudinal slits, with an indicator line on top showing blade position for accurate, controlled cuts. Its compact, lightweight design includes a tethering hole for secure handling in the field.
