The patented, award-winning Jonard Tools MS-526 Mid Span Slit & Ring Tool provides quick, safe access to optical fibers in Corning ALTOS loose-tube cable with binderless FastAccess technology, as well as other thin-walled jackets from 9.8 mm to 18.2 mm in diameter. It combines slitting and ringing blades to remove the thin-wall jacket without damaging the buffer tubes inside, with directional markings for pulling and rotation.
