The Jonard Tools SPCL-2 SPARC® FIRE is a four-motor active V-groove clad alignment fusion splicer for single-fiber work on SM, MM, DS, NZDS and G.657 fiber. Typical singlemode splice loss is 0.03 dB, splices average 4 seconds in Quick mode and 5 seconds in SM mode, and Pressure Heater Technology shrinks a sleeve in as little as 9 seconds (13 seconds average).
It has a full touch screen, improved lighting for dark settings and a fiber holder that switches between standard and loose-tube fiber. The 7000 mAh battery delivers up to 300 splicing-and-heating cycles per charge and recharges from AC or USB-C PD, and on-board memory stores 100,000 splice records and 10,000 images.
Sold as a complete kit: splicer, FC-600 cleaver, JIC-375 stripper, JIC-186 shears, spare electrodes, battery, AC adapter, cooling trays and cleaning supplies in the H-2000 carrying case.
