The Jonard Tools SPCO-2 SPARC® FIRE is a six-motor core alignment fusion splicer for single-fiber work on SM, MM, DS, NZDS and G.657 fiber. Core alignment holds typical singlemode splice loss to 0.01 dB, splices average 4 seconds in Quick mode and 5 seconds in SM mode, and sleeve heating averages 13 seconds.
The rugged metal chassis is water, dust and shock resistant. A full touch screen, German-engineered optics and a high-quality image sensor give a sharp fiber image, and a magnetic fiber holder carries fiber straight from cleaving to splicing. The 7000 mAh battery delivers up to 300 splicing-and-heating cycles per charge and recharges from AC or USB-C PD.
Sold as a complete kit: splicer, FC-600 cleaver, JIC-375 stripper, JIC-186 shears, spare electrodes, battery, AC adapter, cooling tray and cleaning supplies in the H-2002 carrying case.
