The Klein Tools 1659-5AT Chicago Grip is a Bell-System Type B strand puller built for pulling 1/4 IN figure-8 telephone cable. It accepts cable from 0.20 to 0.37 IN in diameter and is rated for a maximum safe load of 5,000 lbs. The round jaw uses serpentine grooves to grip insulation on the strand and prevent slippage, and the grip comes equipped with a chain, toggle, and shackle to keep it from falling off the cable during use. Forged from custom drop-forged steel that is machined and heat treated, each grip is hand-inspected and tested to its rated load. Made in the USA.
