Product details
The Klein Tools 1684-5CAT Chicago Grip is a drop-forged US steel pulling grip for coated guy strand and EHS (extra-high-strength) cable from 0.218 to 0.55 IN in diameter, with a maximum safe load of 8,000 lbs. Unlike smooth-jaw conductor grips, its 5 IN round aggressive sawtooth jaw resists galvanized-coating build-up for a dependable hold on coated strand. A chain, toggle, and shackle keep the grip from falling off the cable, and the spring-loaded locking handle holds the jaw open while the grip is placed with a hot stick. 13.3 IN overall length, 6.9 lbs. Made in the USA.
