The Klein Tools FRCLKHHSWTBND4 is a flame-resistant cooling hard hat sweat band built for line crews working long hours in the heat. An active cooling insert between soft fabric layers activates when soaked in water for 60 seconds and keeps cooling for up to 90 minutes, reactivating with perspiration. The band is arc rated ATPV 12 cal/cm² (ASTM F1506) and suitable for CAT 2 environments per NFPA 70E, and it attaches to Klein Tools hard hat suspension systems with a hook-and-loop fastener.
