The Klein Tools FRCLKHHTPPD5 Flame-Resistant Cooling Hard Hat Top Pad keeps line crews cooler under their hard hats while meeting arc-flash PPE requirements. The flame-resistant fabric carries an ATPV 12 cal/cm2 arc rating (ASTM F1506) and is suitable for CAT 2 environments per NFPA 70E. Soak the pad in water for 60 seconds, wring it out, and the active cooling insert delivers immediate relief for up to 90 minutes, reactivating with perspiration. A hook-and-loop fastener attaches it to Klein Tools hard hats.
