The Makita DC18RC 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Rapid Optimum Charger keeps cordless fleets working with some of the fastest charge times in the industry, charging an 18V LXT 2.0Ah battery in about 25 minutes and a 5.0Ah battery in about 45 minutes. The charger communicates with the battery's built-in chip throughout the charging process, actively controlling current, voltage, and temperature to optimize battery life, while an exclusive built-in fan forces air through the battery's vents to cool it for faster charging. It also charges Makita 14.4V LXT lithium-ion slide-style batteries and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
