The Milwaukee 2872-20 M18™ Brushless Threaded Rod Cutter is a cordless cutter for coarse threaded rod. It cuts 1/4 IN, 3/8 IN and 1/2 IN mild steel and 1/4 IN and 3/8 IN stainless steel rod, leaving clean, burr-free ends so nuts thread on by hand without filing.
Four-sided rotatable cutting dies handle all three rod sizes with the same tool, and the centered grip keeps a clear line of sight for overhead work. Milwaukee rates it at 400+ cuts in 3/8 IN mild steel per charge on an M18™ 2.0Ah battery. Tool only — battery and charger sold separately.
