Xynyth Arctic ECO Green® Icemelter is a granular de-icer for walkways and other surfaces where a harsh melter isn't welcome. Each multi-layer-coated granule is made primarily from potassium acetate, CMA (calcium magnesium acetate) and sodium chloride, and it works down to -20°F (-29°C). It contains no calcium chloride, so it won't burn pets' paws, and Xynyth rates it safe to use around children and pets.
A two-level anti-corrosive formula makes it a better choice on sensitive surfaces, and the bright green color shows where you've spread so you don't overapply. Also called ice melt or ice melter — sold per 50 lb pail with handle.
